Types of Yoga Practiced at Yin Thai:
Pranayama: Breathe Awareness

Vinyasa: Vinyasa means breath-synchronized movement, meaning that movements occurs on inhales and exhales.
Vinyasa can be practiced either fast or slow. The importance is staying connected to your breath!

Yin: Yin yoga gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues that form our joints. The safe way to exercise
(stress) these tissues is to apply a tolerable pressure for a long period of time (i.e.: traction).

Yin/Yang: This class begins with long held passive postures with focus on connective tissue and finishes with
a more vigorous flow that lengthens and strengthens muscle with an emphasis on balance. This 1 1/2 hour class
offers the union of these two powerful practices.

Slow Flow: This Vinyasa is done with long slow out breath with focus on staying connected to the breath in held
asana as well as transitioning. Opening up lines of energy!!

Follow the Yogin: (Free) This is the teachers personal practice. No formal instructions will be given during Follow the
Yogin. We ask that you arrive 5 minutes early and not to enter the studio if the practice curtains have already
been closed. Please enter and exit the studio in silence at this time. The Follow the Yogin is to help you develop
your own personal practice, to self guide and self adjust. All you need to know is already within you waiting to bloom!

Yin Thai: This class  is a Yummy blend of the Practice of Yin Yoga and Thai Massage with the first Half of the class drawing us
inward to explore our inner landscape and then finishing with outward expansion Through the loving gift of Thai Massage.
Leading us ever closer to Moksha. (liberation)
