Global Mala - Yoga for Peace Project - Saturday, September 18th 9:00 -10:30 a.m.
Join us in Roanoke for 108 Sun Salutations led by Abel Harman!
The Global Mala Yoga for Peace Project belongs to the global yoga community. This is a seed of a world-wide experiment into the power of meditation in action.  The purpose of the Global Mala Yoga for Peace is to unite the global yoga community from every continent, school or approach to form a "mala around the earth" through collective practices based upon the sacred cycle of 108 on Sept. 19th or 20th, Fall Equinox as the yoga world's offering to further the UN International Peace Day.
Each center offers their form of a Yoga Mala according to their yoga tradition and inspiration and we will be practicing the 108 Sun Salutations!
Each Global Mala Yoga for Peace event is dedicated to practice or to practice and seva - service by integrating local action, and raising funds for the organization of their choice.
We are donating our proceeds to the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission and the Huntington County Humane Society.
After our practice we will be watching the Titans of Yoga DVD and enjoying refreshments.

$12 pre-registered on line - see our link on the bottom of this page

      Yoga Immersion

Yoga is a journey. You are invited to set sail with Jill and Abel.

This nine month exploration is open to all seekers.
Time to become a FINDER.

Whatever level of interest you have for yoga, this class is for you.

We will join together and explore the 8 (Ashtanga) limbs of yoga.
 What you can expect.
A full body asana (postures) practice.
In depth meditation instruction and practice.
Exploration of the energy systems of the body (chakras).
Chanting, why and how.
 The sutras (teachings) of yoga.

Together we will develop an asana series that you can practice on your own.  As you practice the physical part of yoga, additional reading and homework will be offered.

We strip away the extra demands and commitment required to teach yoga.  Instead we offer the path to BE yoga.
Our base will be set on the Bhakti Sutras of Narada.
The door opens now. Step through.

The class will be held one Sunday a month 9:00am-12. for nine months. Ideally we would like you to participate for the entire 9 months to help build Satsang (Community) with other yogis, but will also be offering a drop in rate for those wishing to study only certain topics.

Additionally, teachers will be available via phone or email and a yahoo group will be established with daily
dialog so that we stay connected between sessions.

Cost of the class is $360 for the entire 9 months. Includes a copy of the Bhakti Sutras
The cost to drop in on any one class is $55 (does not include book)
